One caveat: the FMIS system the county uses is notorious for having incorrect dates for many of our members. Please review the list and if there is an error, send a memo to Mary Maldanado at personnel indicating what you believe the correct date to be. Please copy the union on any such memo. Mary indicated that this was a problem that began a few years ago when the county took over the database from the offices AS400 system. Even though the start date on the list is inaccurate, your personnel file may have documents showing the correct date. We are anticipating any explanatory memo from personnel on this issue and will upload it on to the website for your perusal as soon as we can.
