Please Welcome our New Attorneys

I am happy to report that the County has hired five attorneys to fill five entry level positions at the Civil bureau. The names of the attorneys (who have all become full members) are:

    Congratulations to all who just got hired. Could anyone share any insight into how the hiring process works? I’ve been watching the county job listings for months and never saw any openings posted, yet it seems the county just hired five new attorneys!? Any insights would be much appreciated!

    Dear Job Seeker:

    My understanding is that the individuals hired applied for the positions over two years ago and had already been interviewed and put on a list to be offered jobs but then the money was cut off. Now the office is hiring and is working off that list. As far as I know, human resources still doesn’t have a posting for entry level APDs. That will hopefully occur once the list of applicants who have previously applied and been interviewed has been exhausted.
