The union is in the unenviable position of encouraging more taxes on the already struggling taxpayers of this county to get more for us (and other county employees). 26th street is way understaffed yet more supervisors are being hired and the offices downtown are full. I'm sure other county agencies have similar issues. I'm for cleaning house now. Get rid of the waste first, then see what the taxes need to be. I strongly disagree with our union when it wants to tax the citizens of the county so we are paying about the highest taxes in the country.
